Lee was born in Nebraska, grew up in Lincoln, has lived in Colorado and Texas, and now calls Omaha home. Lee graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1996 and then did his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at both the Lincoln and Kearney campuses. He graduated with a

degree in Arts and Sciences and majored in Communication Studies and minored in English. Lee has worked in sales and management for the past ten years but is now in Graduate school at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, pursuing an Education degree in English. He is also following his passion of being involved with athletics and working towards becoming a head coach at the high school level. He joined the Burke athletic family as a volunteer for the soccer program. Lee is now a full-time assistant on the Varsity team and concentrates most of his efforts training the goalkeepers.

Lee brings a vast knowledge of soccer and experience to the Bulldog program. He began playing soccer at age 6 with the YMCA, and after just a few years of recreational soccer, Lee joined the Capital Soccer Association in Lincoln. He started developing as a more seious player with the CSA program playing with various teams and training as a goalkeeper. Lee then joined the select team that corresponded with his age group and traveled throughout the Midwest competing in premier tournaments. Lee trained with the Nebraska Olympic Development Program and Tony DiCicco, former coach of the United States Women's National Soccer Team from 1994-1999, at SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School.

Lee played high school soccer for Lincoln East from 1994-1996 where he was a goalkeeper and teammate with Coach Bratt. He was a member of the Varsity teams in '95 and '96 that appeared in the state tournament both years and compiled a combined record of 35-5 for those two seasons. Lee was part of building the Lincoln East soccer program's tradition of state championships and instrumental in helping the school win its first state soccer title with the 1996 team that finished 19-2 and was ranked 7th nationally.

After high school, Lee attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney to play football where he walked on as a place kicker and made the team as a freshman. He then transferred to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and played with the Lincoln Brigade of the Premier Development Soccer League. Lee has also coached high school indoor soccer teams and is excited to work with Burke student athletes while furthering their development on and off the field.
